Impact Statement Volunteers play an integral role within the Food4Kids Waterloo Region family. They are the fuel for the engine that keeps us running. Each week, 220 volunteers assist us in a myriad of positions ranging from administrative help, food bagging, assembly line set up, assembly line packing and delivering the food to schools & homes for the children we serve.

Description This is a very important & high energy job that involves organising food bins for hundreds of children we serve across the Waterloo region. Each team will work at their own table and using our menu, volunteers will collect food from our grocery shelves to assemble weekly food bins for families participating in our summer food bin program.
Volunteers for this role should be able to lift and stand for 2-3 hours. We also would like you to keep in mind that you will be working with a small group of a couple people so feel free to bring in a friend. If you are coming in alone you will be paired with another one of our lovely volunteers
