   About the Position

Impact Statement
GRBMFC offers a unique opportunity to connect with music lovers, emerging artists, producers, digital creators, future filmmakers, and others who seek valuable advice and experiences from Black entertainment industry leaders at Kitchener Public Library June 14 - 16, 2024.

A series of workshops, panels, and concerts will take place throughout the day and evening, featuring legendary panellists like Jully Black (RnB Legend), Solitair (Hip-Hop Legend), Michael Williams (Much Music), Master T (Much Music), Will Strickland (Bad Boy Records), Erroll Starr (Reggae Legend), Zochi (Canada’s Queen Of Afrobeats), and more!

Sunday, June 16, features a morning concert by the Toronto Mass Choir, followed by a free concert in Civic Centre Park with hip-hop artist Solitair, a live DJ, and an afternoon of FAMILY-FRIENDLY fun.

Greet and welcome customers, performers and volunteers; Interact with customers in a friendly, inviting manner; Provide information and answer questions; Check-in customers; Bring questions and concerns to staff

Training Details: Orientation to festival and conference on first shift

Friday and Saturday morning (8:30-1 pm) and afternoon (1-5:30 pm)
Friday and Saturday evening – concert evening shifts are available (6-10:30 pm)
Sunday Morning – concert evening shifts are available (9:30 am - 12 pm)
Sunday afternoon in Civic Park – concert afternoon shifts are available (12 – 5:30 pm)
