Description Volunteer cashiers are needed to assist customers at MCC Thrift by:
- processing cash and debit/credit payments and - packaging purchases - working quickly and accurately with multiple tasks - treating customers with patience and respect
Volunteers must be friendly, trustworthy with money, and competent in the English language.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: In house training and job shadowing provided. Working Conditions: Volunteers are working in a fast paced environment, interacting with diverse customers from the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Position requires standing majority of time and moderate lifting (max. 20 lbs) Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime 3 to 4 hour shifts weekly Opened Monday - Wednesday & Saturdays 9am - 5pm Opened Thursday - Friday 9am - 8pm
