Description We are looking for volunteers who would assist in the receiving of the weekly food order. This position includes unpacking and sorting perishable and non-perishable food items, bagging bread, keeping the pantry and shopping area organized/clean, disposing of outdated food, and helping the Family Care Centre worker within the shopping area. This position would be a half day commitment on Mondays from 9 am - 12 pm. Small groups of 2 - 3 individuals are welcome as well as individuals.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Training will be held on site. Working Conditions: Due to the nature of this job, any volunteer would need to be able to lift 20-30lbs and stand for a lengthy period of time. Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 7 - 12 months Weekday - Daytime Mondays from 9 am - 12 pm.
