Description Do you love being in a kitchen environment? Are you looking for a way to meet new people while doing good for others? This volunteer role is a unique opportunity to help provide an immediate response to hunger in your community. As a volunteer kitchen cook, you will be helping to make sure people in your community receive a good meal. In this volunteer role you will provide quality food preparation duties while working with a team to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and meets the needs of clients who are in need of a meal. This role is best suited for an individual who loves to cook for crowds, has a passion for helping to decrease food insecurity, and is able to gently direct others. Having a Safe Food Handlers certificate is an asset or a willingness to obtain it.
