Impact Statement: The LINK Picnic Festival and Carnival Costume Parade is an African and Caribbean Cultural Diaspora event that includes food, art, music and activities to engage the whole family. Your support helps us raise awareness of these cultures, reduce barriers to cultural harmony and collaboration, and link people up through the Arts.
Description: Volunteers will distribute our festival flyers throughout the Region
to promote the event. Volunteers will post and distribute flyers at various locations and events. If you enjoy talking to people and are comfortable around the city this is the position for you! No experience is required. The marketing manager will train you.
Requirements: Physical Demand, Work Without Supervision
Training Details: You will be trained by the Marketing Manager.
Working Conditions: Mostly outdoor walking.
Duration: 3 months or less
Timing: Anytime
Time Detail: A schedule of dates will be established with the Marketing Manager. Festival is on AUGUST 24-25, 2019. Marketing begins in June.
