2025 National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week takes place between April 27 and May 3, 2025. It is a time to celebrate volunteerism, particularly in a time where our community along with others across the country are facing shortages of volunteers.  Helping to remind people of the added value that volunteers bring is more important than ever. On December 5th, we recognize international volunteer day. This is a day for celebrating volunteers who are working to build better and stronger communityies across the world, and here in Waterloo Region. While volunteering is always something to celebrate, we hope you take time on December 5th to recognize all th epeople who are making a difference in the world around you.
