Cambridge Shelter launched an employment social enterprise in May 2023. We had a very successful first season and therefore we are expanding! We are looking for a Volunteer to support our team. This is an opportunity to help us lead and grow our new employment project that will positively influence the narrative around homelessness in the waterloo Region.

Work alongside In Our Backyard Coordinator on landscape job sites
Work alongside In Our Backyard Crew Members
Support clients with basic landscaping tasks

Ideal for: An Individual, Student Placement
Age: 18+

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: The IOB Coordinator will train the volunteer to the role prior to beginning
Working Conditions: The volunteer will be on a lawn care work site and will need safety footwear
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers
Transportation: Car required
