Impact Statement Volunteers get an opportunity to make new friends and meet interesting people as well as having the satisfaction of making a positive difference in another person’s life. In addition, this will be an opportunity to develop new skills and abilities and give you a chance to belong to and feel part of a unique community.

Description We are looking for a passionate and skilled Volunteer Gardener/Lawn Care to help us maintain and beautify our property at our Youth Support Program. As a volunteer, you will play a key role in creating maintaining our outdoor area for our youth to enjoy.
Your responsibilities will include planting, watering, weeding, trimming, and general lawn maintenance. Experience with gardening and lawn care equipment is preferred, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important. If you enjoy working outdoors and want to contribute to a greener community, we would be excited to speak with you.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Training will be provided on the proper use and maintenance of lawn care equipment. Working Conditions: Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime Volunteers are scheduled for one-shift per week and must be able to commit to a 4-month commitment
