Description
Hospice Waterloo Region is seeking Client Support Volunteers to provide support to individuals in their homes in Cambridge. The time commitment for this role is one 2 to 4 hour visit per week for a year of service. Day time availability is preferred.
We are looking for folks who are friendly, compassionate, dependable, trustworthy and great communicators. Supporting those who are living with a life-limiting illness can be such a wonderfully rewarding volunteer experience.
We are looking for volunteers who speak different languages in addition to English.
Male Volunteers especially needed!

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Hospice Waterloo Region provides 35 hours of hospice training in-person. If you have daytime availability to attend training and for daytime volunteering, applications for this training are being accepted now for Fall, 2025. Our Spring, 2025 training course is currently full and registration is closed.
Working Conditions: Visit Clients in their place of residence, home, hospital, or long-term care settings.

Time Commitment
Duration: 1 year or more
Weekday - Daytime
Volunteers are asked to be available 2-4 hours each week, for a year of service. Daytime availability is preferred.
