Impact Statement As a committed volunteer, you want to enable children and youth to enjoy the benefits of organized, instructional or competitive sports and dance. KidSport is a Canadian national charity that provides grants to low-income children and youth so they can participate in their favourite local sport or dance activities. Whether it’s basketball, soccer, gymnastics or ballet, when kids want to get involved in organized, instructional or competitive sports or dance, KidSport KW will make it happen – So ALL Kids Can Play!
KidSport KW is a committee of the KW Sports Council (a not-for-profit organization)

Description The responsibilities of this position include: • Develop appropriate style and content for all Chapter appreciation correspondence • Write and send appreciation (thank you) notes and letters to all donors • Phone donors to express appreciation personally • Prepare appreciation comments for the Chapter’s Social Media sites, and send them to the Chapter’s Co-ordinator of Communications (Social Media) for posting • Maintain a current and historical record of appreciation documents • Share all correspondence with the Chapter Secretary and the Co-ordinator of Revenue Generation • Identify best practices at other organizations for stewardship planning and operation • Prepare and provide monthly reports to the Co-ordinator • Attend KSKW Management Committee Meetings (usually monthly)

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: On-going support will be provided by the Chairperson and the Management Committee of KidSport KW. Working Conditions: The work can be done remotely from home using your personal computer and phone. Because this is a voting member of the Chapter Management Committee, it is required that the Stewardship Officer attend the monthly Management Committee meeting. Meetings are scheduled in the Kitchener / Waterloo area in the evening, usually virtually. Transportation: NONE Needed
